Join D.C.-based Read & Run on the Road organizer Chelsey Stone and discover some of the fascinating sites in Arlington, Virginia!

Cross the Potomac and discover some of the fascinating sites in Arlington, Virginia! You’ll explore several of the sites included in 100 Things to Do in Arlington Before You Die—giving your Arlington bucket list a jump start.

On this five-mile, easy-paced run, make your way to hidden sights like the LBJ Memorial Grove, plantation ruins tucked between two parking garages, and an art installation honoring those who were displaced at the Pentagon. You’ll run along the Mount Vernon Trail to Gravelly Point—a spot Chelsey Stone can attest is regularly crowded with folks watching Reagan’s planes land.

Start: Crystal City Metro, 1750 S Clark St, Arlington, VA 22202 (Google Map)
End: Island Time Bar & Grill, George Washington Mem Pkwy, Arlington, VA 22202 (Google Map) Note the end location is at least a mile from public transportation.

It’s rare that our authors run with us, so Chelsey especially excited to share that Barbara will be running the route with everyone!
