Read & Run on the Road
Read & Run on the Road events are independently-organized versions of our signature format.
Our signature event format—the book-themed guided runs where stories take place—has connected locals to stories in Chicago and beyond since 2021.
Under the Read & Run on the Road (shortened to “Read & Run OTR”) program, runners from communities across the U.S. and beyond can apply to host their own event connecting local running and reading communities, while also supporting local authors, bookstores, public libraries, and other small businesses.
If you believe in the power of stories and movement to help us connect to our environment and each other (plus have some wholesome fun), you’re in the perfect position to host a Read & Run OTR event in your city or hometown.
