Running Tour of LGNSQ with Ben Tanzer [Read & Run Chicago]

📍Chicago

Grace McGann with LGNSQ book about Logan Square, Chicago

Read & Run Chicago is exploring Logan Square!

Join Read & Run Chicago at City Lit Books on Saturday, June 13 at 9:00 AM for a three and a half-mile running tour with guide Grace McGann inspired by LGNSQ, a photography book about the people and places that define Logan Square, a community in the midst of gentrification in Chicago.

Along the route, you’ll see public art, community spaces, and local businesses and learn about the people who have worked to build and define this neighborhood.

After the running tour, stick around for snacks, coffee, and social time at City Lit Books.

As this is a running tour, there is no pre-reading required. If you’re interested in reading LGNSQ, you can borrow from a local branch of the Chicago Public Library.
